Drug Education Video

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on  him.
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

Luke 10:33 & 34

If you look at them through the eyes of Christ, you can see past the harshness and anger in their faces...

Some Statistics...
90% of all meth users become addicted on their first use.

According to a 1997 report, 4.4% of American teenagers have tried meth (and that number has increased at least 30% since then).

Do You Need A Program

Is this a question you have been asking yourself?  If so, then the answer to your question is probably, “Yes”.  With that in mind, the question then becomes, “Is Good Samaritan Rehabilitation the program for you”?  To answer that question truthfully, you will need to study this material and do a little soul searching.

The first thing you must do is determine why you are looking for a program.  Some individuals are looking for a program solely to get out of legal trouble.  In short, they think that by “doing time” in rehab, they will avoid doing time in jail.  Now, there is no problem in not wanting to go to jail.  Even the most rational person would want to avoid that if possible.  But this is the deal.  If you are addicted to drugs or alcohol, then you are not the most rational person in the game.  If your interest now is simply to avoid some jail time, then this is a sign that you still think you are fine and don't really need help.  Unfortunately for you, you still have a lot more to lose in life before you can gain your life back.

If that describes you, don't waste anymore time.  Log off now… but please feel free to come back when you find yourself needing more than a “get out of jail free” pass.

For Those Who Are Serious

If you are serious about gaining your life back, then perhaps we have a place for you.  Please read on.

Some programs are designed to get the addict off of drugs or alcohol.  Although this is good and will allow the addict to think more clearly, they have little to offer in the way of long-term success.  The addict may be drug free, but is still faced with the dilemma of how to build a drug free life-style and, more than likely, will eventually return to their addictive life-style.

Drugs are a sub-product of the real problem the addict must deal with.  As long as these problems exist the addict will be driven to bury the problem in drugs or alcohol.  Specialists in the field have defined at least five contributing factors that lead to drug and alcohol addiction.  These are:

Consequently, for a program to be successful, it must go beyond simply “drying” the addict out.  Of necessity, the successful program must address those five factors.  Good Samaritan Rehabilitation is such a program.

Are You Ready For Rehab?

Again there are some questions you must answer.  If the answer is no to any of them, then again don't waste time.  Log off now…but please feel free to come back when you are ready.  However, if you've made it this far, the answer is probably yes.  Perhaps you're still not sure. Either way consider these questions carefully and answer them truthfully.

  1. Have you sat down and counted the cost of what it will take to become a whole person again?
  2. Are you willing to put your life into somebody else's hands?
  3. Are you willing to submit your will and be disciplined by someone else that loves you?  In short, are you willing to obey orders that are hard for you?
  4. Are you willing to give your life to God, to submit all authority to him, and to admit that you are powerless and need help?
  5. Are you sick of being the same old person, an addict?
  6. Are you willing to walk away from all friends, family, and others that are not healthy for you?  (This is a necessary step for rehab, and one that may save your life.)
  7. Are you willing to make a list of all the people who are not healthy for you to associate with?1
  8. Are you willing to sign a contract that would enable someone to stop you regardless of the cost?  In short, to give permission to turn you in to the courts if you go back to drugs or alcohol?

If you answered yes to all eight questions above, then Click Here because we have good news for you.

1This list is for you. It's purpose is to serve as a guide to the types of relationships that will endanger your recovery.

But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
I John 3:17 & 18

"If you want to raise a man from mud and filth, do not think it is enough to keep standing on top and reaching down to him a helping hand. You must go all the way down yourself, and then take hold of him with strong hands and pull him and yourself out into the light."
